NYPD Officer and Suffern resident Donald Swartz caught on camera helping blind woman hail cab in pouring rain

SUFFERN, NY – NYPD Officer and Suffern resident Donald Swartz was caught on camera by a resident helping a blind woman at an intersection hail a cab in the pouring rain.

Swartz, has been with the NYPD for 15 years and works in Transit District 3.

The video was filmed by a resident and anonymously sent to the precinct.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
