World Cancer Day Raises Awareness Prevention And Detection February 4th

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4 February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day is led by the Union for International Cancer Control to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration, written in 2008.

WCD seeks to improve awareness and offer preventative measures, early detection, and treatment, while serving as a reminder to everyone, ranging from ordinary citizens, NGOs, to government institutions, of cancer’s effects on the entire global population.

Campaigns ‘World Cancer Day’ is an educational and awareness campaign that encourages people to actively participate in cancer prevention measures.

It is possible to prevent cancer by eating healthily, exercising regularly, and avoiding the consumption of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages.

More importantly when these types of cancer are detected at an early stage, such as breast, cervical, and colon cancer, the prognosis is much better.
