STONY POINT, NY – Rockland’s Tom Javenes of Stony Point Completes 1,500 Hike of Anthony’s Nose for 2023. Javenes is a true inspiration, in 2015 he fell from a ledge in the steep terrain near Anthony’s Nose, suffering serious back and neck injuries. Since his recovery, he has built himself back even stronger and has truly conquered Anthony’s Nose.

“Tripling up for ANH#1500o23!!!! What an amazing year. Plenty of rain, heat, humidity, mud, wind, smoke, road closures, bumps bruises and blisters. Feeling the love from many good friends up here for #1500. God is good. One foot in front of the other and you never know how far you can go.” said Tom in a post on Facebook.
