Suffern High School’s Clev Lubin Commits to Play Football at Army West Point

SUFFERN, NY – Suffern High School’s two sport star senior Clev Lubin has signed his officially letter of intent to play football at West Point – The U.S. Military Academy.

Lubin is a star athlete in basketball and football, and also excels in the classroom. His choice to serve his country and choose West Point over many other division 1 offers speaks volumes to his character.

During his career at Suffern HS, he racked up a Rockland-best 1,062 yards in 2019 and averaged 10.5 ypc with 14 TDs. He will be playing linebacker in college.

In one of the most thrilling finishes of the season, Nyack High School overcame a four-goal deficit to defeat perennial powerhouse Rye in the Section 1 Class C Girls Lacrosse Championship on Wednesday.

With the game tied and just 22 seconds remaining, Kate Gould delivered the game-winning goal, sealing an unforgettable victory for Nyack. Remember the name — Kate Gould! Her clutch performance capped a stunning comeback and secured the title for a Nyack squad already ranked in the top 10 nationally.

This historic season continues for Nyack HS, as they set their sights on an even deeper postseason run.
