Garnerville, NY  – The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024 Artist’s Support Fund (ASF), a grant program designed to provide direct financial assistance to practicing artists in Rockland County. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering a thriving artistic community by supporting the ongoing work of local talent.
The Artist’s Support Fund was established to recognize and address the financial challenges faced by artists in Rockland County.

The program aims to empower artists by offering grants to assist with various aspects of their creative endeavors, such as studio or workshop rentals, supplies, equipment or instrument purchase or rental, website development, professional development, transportation, costumes, or an emergency related to your practice.

To apply artists must be Rockland County residents, members of the Arts Council of Rockland, have an ongoing practice in any art discipline including music, dance, visual art, film/media, creative writing, poetry, theater/performance, and have not received an Artist Support Fund grant for 3 grant cycles.

The application period for the 2024 Artist’s Support Fund is now open. Artists are encouraged to submit their applications by January 22, 2024 @ 5:00 PM, and successful applicants will be notified in March 2024. There is no application fee required and grant funding requests must be a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $500.
