Please join the Clarkstown police department and celebrate the retirement of P.O. Andrew Kelly. Officer Kelly began his distinguished career with the Clarkstown Police Department in July 2006, following an impressive service record with the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his military service, he has been a licensed paramedic with New York State and served with the Greenwich Police Department.
Throughout his career, Officer Kelly exemplified leadership and dedication. As a member of the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) and a skilled police sniper, he showed extraordinary commitment to keeping his fellow officers and the community safe. Additionally, Officer Kelly played a pivotal role as a drill instructor at the Rockland County Police Academy for 10 years, shaping the future of law enforcement by instilling discipline, integrity, and leadership in recruits.
Officer Kelly’s passion for serving the community extended to the Street Crime Unit, working tirelessly to protect and serve. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Officer Kelly is also an avid Ironman and ultra runner, as well as a talented bagpiper with the Rockland County Police Emerald Society.

Please join the Ramapo Police Department in congratulating Lieutenant Anthony Giardina on his retirement after 27 years of dedicated service with the Ramapo Police Department. Lt. Giardina was a trailblazer as the department’s first K9 officer, helping to shape and grow the program into what it is today. He also played a key role in managing our Intern Program and successfully led the department through re-accreditation as the NYS Law Enforcement Accreditation Program Manager. His commitment to professional development extended further as a graduate of Session 278 of the FBI National Academy in Quantico. Thank you for your outstanding service, Lt. Giardina.
