Vehicle Crashes into Restaurant in Sloatsburg

SLOATSBURG, NY – On Thursday September 28th, The Town of Ramapo Police Department responded to 67 Orange Turnpike in the The Village of Sloatsburg for an auto crash where a vehicle drove into the storefront.

The Sloatsburg Fire Department and The Village of Sloatsburg building inspectors are on scene assessing the damage to the building. There are no injuries reported at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
