Joan Sweeney Moore, 2019 Grand Marshal of Rockland St. Patrick’s Day Parade honored at Rockland Legislature
Legislators Vincent D. Tyer and Patrick J. Moroney welcomed Joan Sweeney Moore of Pearl River to the Legislature’s Chambers. Joan has been chosen to be this year’s Grand Marshal of the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The same night Joan visited, the Legislature celebrated Women’s History Month, and on March 17, when the parade kicks off at 1:30 p.m. in Pearl River, it will also mark the local celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Ladies’ AOH in America.
